Four traditions, one percentage
Most love calculators hash two names into a number and present the result as fate. This one is a little more deliberate: it draws on four separate compatibility traditions, scores each independently, and shows you the breakdown alongside the total.
Numerology
Numerology reduces dates and names to single digits. Your Life Path number comes from your birth date; your Destiny number comes from the letters of your name. The calculator compares both pairs, rewarding exact matches most and shared odd/even parity a little less. This contributes 40% of the final score.
Western zodiac
Each sun sign belongs to one of four elements. The traditional readings are that same-element pairs are comfortable, fire and air amplify each other, earth and water sustain each other, and fire and water tend to clash. The calculator applies exactly those rules, weighted at 30%.
Chinese zodiac
The twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac fall into four groups of three, sometimes called compatibility triangles. Animals within a triangle are considered naturally aligned. Contributing 20%, this is the most all-or-nothing of the four signals — you are either in the same triangle or you are not.
Soul vibration
The lightest touch, at 10%: the first vowel sound of each name. Vowels have long been treated in name lore as carrying a word's underlying tone.
