Love Meter

"Enter the details of two souls to reveal their destiny."

How the Love Meter builds a score

The meter does not pick a random number. It reads four traditional compatibility systems, scores each one separately, and blends them into a single percentage using fixed weights.

The four signals

  • Numerology — 40%. The largest share. Both birth dates are reduced to a Life Path number and both names to a Destiny number, then compared for matches and shared parity.
  • Western zodiac — 30%. Sun signs are grouped into their four elements — fire, earth, air and water — and scored on how those elements traditionally relate.
  • Chinese zodiac — 20%. Birth years map to the twelve animals, which fall into four compatibility triangles.
  • Soul vibration — 10%. The smallest share, comparing the first vowel sound in each name.

Why the weights are uneven

Numerology carries the most weight because it draws on the most input — both full birth dates and both names. Soul vibration carries the least because it looks at a single letter from each name, so on its own it would swing results far more than its evidence warrants.

Reading your result

The breakdown under the main percentage shows each system's own score, so you can see where a high or low total came from. A pair might score strongly on numerology and weakly on zodiac elements, and the blended figure hides that. The individual rows do not.

Because every step is a fixed calculation, the same two names and dates always produce the same percentage. There is no randomness, and refreshing will not change it.

A note on what this is

This is an entertainment tool built on astrological and numerological traditions. Those traditions are centuries old and interesting in their own right, but they are not predictive of how a relationship will actually go. Enjoy the number, and do not let it decide anything that matters.
