I noticed many visitors who are using my Turkish text summarizer web app coming from mobile phone. So I decided to create an android app to serve the service in better way. I have used Ionic framework, Typescript and Angular.

It is very easy to use this app. You can input or paste your text, then just a click to summarize button. You can copy the summary with copy button. Currently, I am still thinking about what kind of features I could add. If there are any questions or ideas please don't hesitate to contact me.

There has been a great deal of increment in the number of the electronic documents with the common use of web and this made it very possible to reach the knowledge not only easily but also quickly. However, this situation causes can’t finding what we search for among those thousands of documents and sometimes reading a lot of pages in vain. The difficulties caused by mass of these documents have required meaningfull and beneficial summary of the available sources but people’s summarizing such a lot documents will cause a great deal of both time and source consuming. For this reason, Turkish Text Summarization System has been developed to use computers fort he summarization of the documents.

Linux is chosen as a operating system. The application will be developed with Java. The developement enviroment is Eclipse. Zemberek NLP used as Turkish NLP library. Zemberek can analyse and parse words and sentences. The summarization algorithm is Lexical chain which is has never been tried for Turkish.
